Santosh Kumar Vipparthi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur, India (An Institute of National Importance and one of the top NITs fully funded by Ministry of Education, Government of India), (2013-Current). He finished His PhD at the Indian Institute of Technology Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU), Varanasi, under the supervision of Prof. Shyam Krishna Nagar. Before that, He received his master’s degree in systems Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU), advised by Prof. J. P. Tiwari. He is a regular reviewer for many top ranking international journals (IEEE Transactions on Image Processing (TIP), IEEE Transactions on Affective Computing, IEEE Transactions on Cybernatics, etc.) and conferences (BMVC, WACV, ICPR, etc.).

I leads the Vision Intelligence Lab @ MNIT. with research focused important visual perception tasks such as object detection, human emotion recognition, aberrant event detection, image retrieval, Gesture recognitions, Motion analysis, etc..

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

He has received research grant from DST-SERB in 2018 and GPU grant for research in Deep Learning from NVIDIA. Also, he has successfully completed phase-I of the consultancy project for RUDSICO, Rajasthan. He has research experience in computer vision, pattern recognition and Deep Learning techniques. he has published His research findings were published in reputed international journals (IEEE, IET, Elsevier, Springer etc.) and highly ranked conferences (ICPR, SMC, INDICON, etc.).
